Talk With Me - About Jesus of Nazareth

Talk With Me allows you to direct a conversation about God, Jesus and Eternal Life.

You will be asked questions and be able to ask questions.

"Let's Talk," you say.
"We'll Talk Later," you decide.

Before you leave, I just want you to know that I have some great news!

God is offering Eternel Life to us free!
He has gone to great expense to give us this gift, and you will not be able to get it unless you know how to RECEIVE it!

If you still must go, and you don't know how to receive the gift, I am praying that you will receive it before the door is shut and God stops offering it.

- "Ok," you say, "I will stay and hear about the gift God is offering."  "Start again."
- "I'm leaving, but pray for me if you want to." you say.
- You respond with, "I don't want to listen anymore, thanks anyway."

If you would like to e-mail me to ask for prayer, or if you would like to talk about what you are reading here please e-mail me.
I would be happy to talk with you or pray for anything you need.

God loves you, and so do I.

- "I will email you by clicking here." you say.
- "I would rather not e-mail you, you say, "thanks anyway."

I would like to talk about something that I believe is very important.  In fact, I have come to see it as the most important thing I have ever considered.  And that is, "What's the point?"  This question began my search for purpose.  I decided that without reason or purpose, this life makes no sense.
I read somewhere that Sir Issiac Newton designed an almost perfect model of our solar system.  It had a crank, and when it was turned the planets would circle the sun, each according to its own orbit.  One day, a friend came over to visit and noticed the model in a corner.  He went over and began to operate it and was amaized at how detailed it was.  He asked Newton, "Did you make this?"
And Newton replied, "No, nobody made it.  I just came in one day and noticed it was there."   His friend said to him, "It couldn't just have appeared from nothing.  Maybe someone put it there."
So, Newton looked over at his friend and said, "Do you believe there is a God?"  And his friend said, "Of coarse Not, I'm a scientist."
To this Newton said, "You refuse to believe that this model had no creator, as small and simple as it is, yet you also believe that the real universe exists without one?"  To this, his friend had no reply.

I decided that if there is no God, and the whole point to this life is to eat, sleep, and work, then it's not worth living.   So I decided to look for my purpose.   I studied many different religions to see if any had the truth.   And several years ago, I began to discover things that I never knew before.   I found out that God wanted a relationship with me!   He wanted me to live forever with Him.   My purpose was to live forever in Love with God!   He had a gift for me that would give me reason and purpose.
He has given me the same gift that He is freely offering to everyone who will receive it, Eternat Life!   Now that I have it, my life could not be more complete.   I have a message of Love to give to any who will listen.   I work with and for God now, and will be rewarded for it for all eternity!

According to many surveys done in America, somewhere between 80% - 90% of all Americans believe in a 'God'.   And most of them believe they are going to heaven.   But does this mean they are going to Heaven?  Only God can tell us for sure.   But the best thing in all my life is that He has told us!   And I know that if I were to die today, that I would wake up in the arms of God and live there with Him forever.

May I ask you a question?
"Have you come to a place in your spiritual life where you know for certain that if you were to die today that you would go to heaven or is that something you would say that you're still working on?"

- ["I don't believe there is a Heaven." you answer quickly.] (coming soon)
- "Yes, I am sure that I will go to Heaven When I die." you answer.
- "I don't know." you reply, "I hope God will let me into Heaven when I die."
- "I do believe there is a Heaven," you say, "But I don't think I would go there if I died today."

I am sure too.   The Bible says that we can know for sure!   And actually, that is what most of the Bible is about.   Did you know this was why the Bible was written?

"I write these things ... that you may know that you have eternal life"     1 John 5:13

May I share with you how I came to know that I have eternal life?   But before I do, let me ask you another question.
"Suppose you were to die today and stand before God, and HE were to say to you, 'Why should I let you into my heaven?'...What would you say?"

- ["I don't believe in the Christian God." you say.] (coming soon)
- "I don't want to answer that question." you say, "I don't want to talk anymore."
- "I don't know," you say, "I hope God would let me in because He loves me."
- "I would say the requirements to get into Heaven are being a good person," you answer, "and trying to do things for others, not being hateful, and loving others.   I'm not a bad person."
- "I don't think He would let me in for any good I've done." you answer, "My best isn't good enough.   I would say, 'You should let me in because of what you did to make it possable.'"

From the answers you gave to those important questions, I am sure that I have the greatest news you will ever hear!   "Would you like some great news?"

- "No thanks," you say, "I don't really like good news."
- "Yes!   Please." you answer with a smile, "I can always use great news."

You have indicated that you are not certain that you will go to Heaven when you die, but you would trust what God has done to get you in. So you may already be going, but I can ASSURE you of getting into Heaven!   It's the greatest news you will ever hear!   "Would you like some great news?"

- "No thanks," you say, "I don't really like good news."

From the answers you have given to those important questions, I believe you will go to heaven if you KNOW what it was that God did to get us in!   Would you like to hear God's great news?   If you still have any questions, this will clarify what exactly God did to get us into Heaven!   "Would you like to hear this great news?"

- "No thanks," you say, "I don't really like good news."
- "Yes!   Please." you answer with a smile, "I can always use great news."
